Brusho #3: Moss Green Happy Birthday

This is my third card using the Brusho Crystal Colours to create a background.  Oops!  This card also shows how easily you can accidentally sprinkle the crystals on the wrong paper!  (There is no blue in the Moss Green Brusho!)  If I had tried harder, I probably could have redesigned my card to hide that blue streak, but then I wouldn't have had an example for this important lesson.  (Yeah, lets go with that!)

Brusho Crystal Colours

This card using the Moss Green Brusho.  I love how this color is really a combination of greens and purples.  It makes a very unique background that I don't think I could recreate using other products.

My Color Combination

The inspiration for my color combination comes right from the Brusho!  I used the Happy Birthday Thinlit to cut the sentiment from Old Olive cardstock and placed it on an oval of Elegant Eggplant which is mounted on the background with Stampin' Dimensionals.  The watercolor paper is mounted on Elegant Eggplant and then attached to an Old Olive card base.

If you missed it, here are my first two cards with the Brushos:

Bloomin' Love

Dragonfly Dreams

If you live anywhere within the United States, I would love to be your Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. When you shop online with me, please consider using the current hostess code on orders under $150 and allow demonstrator contact so I can thank you with a hand-stamped card.
