Brusho #4: Prussian Blue Butterfly Basics

This is the the fourth card in a series of five that I made using the Brusho Crystal Colours to create the background.

Brusho Crystal Colours

This card uses the Prussian Blue Brusho, which consists of shades of blue.  I paired it up with Dapper Denim, but I think it goes just as well with Night of Navy.

To create the background, I sprinkled the Brusho crystals on dry watercolor paper and then sprayed water with the Stampin' Spritzer.  As the water hits the color crystals, the crystals 'melt' into the watercolor paper.  The more water that is added, the more the crystals will dissolve and act like a watercolor paint.  Less water gives a more speckled look.

My Color Combination

I paired up Dapper Denim with Berry Burst for this card.  I mounted the watercolor paper on Dapper Denim cardstock and then placed that on a Berry Bust card base.  I used the Butterflies Thinlits to cut the large Berry Burst butterfly and stamped the sentiment in Berry Burst on Whisper White cardstock.
