Lots of Lavender

Do sometimes find yourself wanting a water colored look without all the fuss?  The Lots of Lavender stamp set is for you!  This is a two-step stamp set, so I first stamped the outline lavender stamp in black and then used the various colors of ink to add the 'watercolor' to the image.  So easy but so impressive!
This stamp set is one of the FREE products that is only available during Sale-A-Bration with a qualifying purchase.

Card Recipe & Color Combination

  • Crumb Cake card base: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
  • Fresh Fig: 3 15/16" x 5 3/16"
  • Crumb Cake: 3 3/4" x 5"
  • Fresh Fig: 2 3/16" x 4 3/16"
  • Very Vanilla: 2" x 4"

Tips & Tricks

  • I first stamped the outline image of the lavender stamp in Tuxedo Black Momento Ink.
  • The flowers are stamped in Fresh Fig.  To get the lighter color, I 'stamped off' twice before stamping on my cardstock.
  • The leaves are stamped with Pear Pizzazz, stamped off once.
  • The stems in Crumb Cake and the bow in Pink Pirouette were both stamped full strength. (The stem should have been stamped in Pear Pizzazz to match the leaves. Not sure what I was thinking there!)
