Ink & Share Blog Hop: Spring

It's time for another round of the Ink & Share Blog Hop!  We are a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators who are working together to share our love of stamping and to inspire you to create  a project of your own.

This month our focus is on Spring and Easter.  Stampin' Up!'s Occasions catalog is full of stamps and accessories that fit this theme.  For my card, I decided to use the Hello Easter stamp set.  This set includes two Easter eggs along with a variety of smaller stamps to decorate the egg.

I stamped the egg in Pink Pirouette and then used Wisteria Wonder, Calypso Coral and Dapper Denim to decorate it.  It needed some bling, so I added a few rhinestones also.  The bunny was stamped in Soft Suede and then trimmed with Paper Snips.

The 'Happy Easter' sentiment is also stamped in Soft Suede.  I wanted to die cut the sentiment with the banner framelits, but the sentiment didn't fit quite right.  One of the advantages of photopolymer stamps is that you can change the shape of narrow stamps!  I was able to curve the stamp as I attached it to the acrylic block so the sentiment would fit in the banner.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today!  I'm so glad you stopped by.  Please take a moment to follow my blog while you are here so you don't miss any posts!  Be sure to use the Next button blow to continue on the hop!
