Watercolor Wings

I have been holding off sharing this card that I made recently for a swap.  I wanted to make sure all of the participants received theirs before I shared it here.  I made 11 of these cards. (The Stamparatus made it so quick and easy!) If you are in my customer-only VIP Facebook group, watch out this week for pictures of the cards I received in return.

I used the Watercolor Wings photopolymer stamp set for this card.  The clear stamps make it super easy to line up the layers of the butterfly wings.  The base layer was stamped in Peekaboo Peach. I stamped the outer edges of the wings with Flirty Flamingo.  The darker, inner areas and the dots, as well as the body, were stamped with Soft Suede.  I love how this color combination turned out!

TIP:  Once you stamp the three layers of the butterfly, cut it out with the coordinating Bold Butterfly Framelits BEFORE stamping the body. It is almost impossible to line up the body cutting.
