Bleached Butterfly

The background on the butterfly in this card was stamped with bleach. I then stamped the outline with Close to Cocoa ink.
  • Stamps: Flight of the Butterfly
  • Paper: Close to Cocoa, Pixie Pink, So Saffron and Whisper White card stock
  • Ink: Close to Coca Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Accessories: 1/4" Chocolate Chip Grosgrain ribbon

  1. Cool card! I haven't tried this technique yet but it looks like it worked pretty well! I like the effects with the butterfly stamp!

  2. Pretty card! Bleaching is so much fun. I like how you added the distressed edges too.

  3. Beautiful card! Have to try your bleaching technique soon!

  4. Haven't done this technique in a long time and never even thought to use this stamp set. Loveley!

  5. Lovely-what a great technique to use with this butterfly! Such pretty colors, too! One of these days I'll try bleaching-maybe when the weather's nicer since I'm sure I'll need a drop cloth, lol.

  6. I'm going to have to try this technique. TFS!

  7. I like the bleaching. May have to try that myself. Very nice card, wonderful color combinations! TFS.
