Eastern Beauty for Fab Friday

Eastern Beauty was one of those bundles that I just absolutely had to have the moment it came out.  But then it just sat there un-inked for months!  I finally put it to use.  I used the color combination at the Fab Friday Challenge and came up with this card.

Card Recipe

Scroll to the bottom of this post for a complete supply list.
  • Lemon Lime Twist card base: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
  • Berry Burst: 3 15/16" x 5 3/16"
  • Whisper White: 3 3/4" x 5"

Tips & Tricks to Recreate this Card

  • I started by stamping the Berry Burst ring in the center of my Whisper White layer I then choose two of the medallion dies and cut those centered inside and outside of the stamped circle.
  • I used the various small stamps to create my medallion.  This was a lot of fun to play around with.  I kept a piece of scrap paper next to me to try out my ideas before stamping on my final project.
  • After stamping, I turned up the corner pieces of the medallion to give it some dimension.
  • I added the Lemon Lime Twist Ombre Ribbon and a Glitter Enamel Dot for a little bling.

There is so much that you can do with the stamp set and the coordinating framelits.  With all of the stamps and dies that come with the bundle, the possibilities are endless!

  1. So beautiful! This was one I struggled with, too - I got it right away, then somehow kept skipping it over, lol. It's perfect for a bold and bright color challenge like ours, though, and you've used it so very skillfully! Thanks so much for playing at Fab Friday!
