February Paper Pumpkin: Wildflower Wishes Alternative Cards

I couldn't wait to sit down with this month's Paper Pumpkin kit.  This one is my favorite yet!  My subscription was on hold this month, but when I saw the kit, I had to hunt one down.  Thankfully I found a fellow demo who had an extra!  Each Wildflower Wishes kit comes with 9 card bases, 9 printed envelopes, 9 printed cardstock pieces, 4 sheets cardstock stickers, 3 sheets die-cut elements, 2 sheets vellum die-cuts, 9 yds. linen thread, 30 white pearls, 60 dimensionals, and 200 adhesive dots. As always, this Paper Pumpkin kit comes with an exclusive stamp set, plus a Garden Green ink spot, both of which you can save to use on future projects!

I started by making 3 cards (one of each design) that the kits are designed to make.  The Stampin' Up! video demonstrating these cards is at the bottom of this post.

After I made those cards, I started working with some of the pieces to create some alternative cards.  The only thing I added to the alternate cards was some cardstock.

For the first card I used the same layout as the kit.  I replaced the printed layer with a piece of 5" x 3-3/4"  Pink Pirouette card stock that is layered on a Whisper White layer.  Instead of using the die cut word stick, I used the the leftover letters from another card on the floral die cut piece.

This card uses the same layout, except I used the floral stickers instead of stamping flowers in the corners.  I also used a piece of Pink Pirouette behind the die cut word instead of the floral piece.

For this card I used the long narrow floral die cut, trimmed down to 4".  I placed it on the crumb cake printed piece.  I used leftover letter for this card also and stamped the 'hello sweet' with Memento ink.

For my last card I cut down the printed crumb cake layer to 3-3/4" x 5" and layered it on a piece of Pink Pirouette.  I stamped the sentiment in Crumb Cake.  I then used some of the floral stickers to create a bouquet.

Stampin' Up! has some great alternative ideas for using this kit too:
