Garden in Bloom and Retiring Colors

So by now you have probably heard about Stampin' Up!'s 2018 Color Revamp.  SU! is making some major changes to the color families.  I'm in love with the new colors and can't wait to add them to my collection, but for today I'm focusing on the colors that will be retiring.

My goal for this card was to use a couple retiring colors.  I managed to use five.  Pretty impressive for one card if you ask me!  I started with Soft Sky because that will probably be the color I will miss the most.  From there I added a few more of my favorites: Garden Green, Marina Mist, Pink Pirouette, Rose Red, So Saffron, and Wild Wasabi.  After stamping my main panel I added a know with the retiring Soft Sky Classic Ribbon.  When I began this card I had no idea how it was going to turn about, but I am absolutely in love with this color combo!  I'm going to miss these colors when they are gone.

The stamp set I used, Garden in Bloom, will also be retiring on May 31st.  This is a two-set stamp set that gives you numerous options to combine stamps and colors to create a garden in the arrangement and colors you want.

Retiring Colors

The following colors will official retire on May 31st.  They are now available only while supplies last.  Click on your favorite colors below to go to my online store and stock up on ink pads, cardstock, and ink refills.

Retiring In Colors

In addition to the core colors, the following 2016-2018 In Colors will also be retiring.  Don't forget to stock up on your cardstock and ink refills on these too!
