Ink & Share Blog Hop: Sneak Peek

Welcome to this month's Ink & Share Blog Hop!  For this month's hop we are sharing products from Stampin' Up!'s upcoming 2018-2019 Annual Catalog.  The new Annual Catalog will release on June 1st.  There are  so many fabulous products (and new colors!) being released that it was hard to choose which items to use for this hop!  I am so excited to be able to share all these wonderful products with you in upcoming posts so be sure to subscribe to my blog or Facebook page while you are here.

I decided to use the new stamp set Abstract Impressions along with a new Designer Series Paper stack, Garden Impressions.  I am a big fan of two-step stamping.  The photopolymer stamps makes it so easy to line up the designs, however with the style of this set, if your stamps are not perfectly aligned, it still looks great!

I used three new ink colors for this card.  The flowers were first stamped with the new Mango Melody with the detail in Calypso Coral.  The two parts of the stems were stamped with the new Soft Sea Foam (one of my favorites) and Shaded Spruce.  The sentiment is stamped in Night of Navy.

The print that I used is not my favorite print from this DSP stack.  In fact, I thought for sure that it would be too busy for this card.  But once I paired it with the more subtle Calypso Coral print, I really like it as a the background on this card.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by my blog today.  I appreciate each and every visit!  I hope you have been inspired to stamp something today!   Please take a moment to leave me a comment and let me know you were here.  And, as always, I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have about these cards or any Stampin' Up! product.
