Step It Up: Bike Ride

I have exciting news to share! I was invited to be a party of the Creative Crew at Splitcoaststampers!  The Creative Crew is a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators.  We are given a few challenges each month to share on the first of each month with other demos.
These cards were made for a Step It Up! challenge.  The idea is to create a simple card and then recreate a stepped up version of it.

For the simpler version of this card I stamped and die cut the pieces of the bike.  The gravel road was stamped on Crumb Cake cardstock with Crumb Cake ink.  The sentiment, from Petal Palette, was stamped in Rose Red (retiring May 31st.)

For the stepped up version I stamped more details into the bike and basket. I also added flowers to the basket.  I made the focal layer smaller and mounted it on to a background of Wood Textures DSP.  I also added some Classic Weave ribbon and Metallic Enamel Shapes for embellishment.

Be sure to check back throughout the week to see what other projects I made for the Creative Crew challenges!

Thank you for taking the time to stop by my blog today.  I appreciate each and every visit!  I hope you have been inspired to stamp something today!   Please take a moment to leave me a comment and let me know you were here.  And, as always, I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have about these cards or any Stampin' Up! product.

Happy Stampin!
