Paper Pumpkin Pop Up Blog Hop: Broadway Star

Welcome to the Paper Pumpkin Pop Up Blog Hop! We are all fans of this monthly crafting kit who want to share our enthusiasm with you for this box of fun and creativity! The beauty of the Paper Pumpkin kit is that you can either follow the directions provided in the kit to make the projects as they were designed, or use the supplies as a starting point and let your creativity run wild. On this hop we will be sharing lots of ideas with you on how to use June's Paper Pumpkin kit: Broadway Star.

The summer months can get pretty busy. This month's Paper Pumpkin kit is perfect for a quick card for birthdays or graduations. So rather than pulling out additional supplies to coordinate with this month's kit (and there are a lot of the this time!), I challenged myself to use only the supplies included in the kit (plus a black ink pad).

This first card is my favorite. I really love the black, white, and gold with a pop of Lovely Lipstick! I used the same layout the pre-designed card, but mixed up the elements a little.

This card uses the Lemon Lime twist card base.  Again, it's a similar layout with just a change of elements.  I left off the black marquis sign, but added a cake and candle.

For this card, I layered the Lovely Lipstick layer under the black marquis to make it stand out on the black and white card base.  I love all the pearls that are included with this kit for the frame of the marquis sign.

For my last card I did an all-over stamped design on the white banner using the cake stamp included in this month's kit.  TIP:  To be able stamp off the edges of this piece without stamping on the other pieces on the same sheet, pull this piece off of the page and adhere it to the Silicone Mat.  After stamping adhere it to your card.  The Silicone Mat will easily wipe clean!

Are you currently a Paper Pumpkin subscriber? If not, now is a great time to join in the fun! Join by July 10th to receive the next kit.

Thank you for joining us as we share with you the possibilities of Paper Pumpkin, now hop over to Tricia's blog to see what she created with this month's Paper Pumpkin.
