Paper Pumpkin Pop Up Blog Hop: Picnic Paradise

Welcome to the Paper Pumpkin Pop Up Blog Hop! We are all fans of this monthly crafting kit who want to share our enthusiasm with you for this box of fun and creativity! The beauty of the Paper Pumpkin kit is that you can either follow the directions provided in the kit to make the projects as they were designed or use the supplies as a starting point and let your creativity run wild. On this hop we will be sharing lots of ideas with you on how to use July's Paper Pumpkin kit: Picnic Paradise.

As Stampin' Up! started releasing sneak peeks of July's kit, I was sure I was going to love it!  As soon as I saw what was included in the kit, I knew I would be using some of the elements for a scrapbook page!

I used the cotton gingham paper as a background piece.  To make it appear larger, I cut it into two pieces and 'hid' the gap behind the Granny Apple Green cardstock piece. I also cut a narrow strip of it to give the look of washi tape across the top of the page.

The strawberry cut outs are the perfect embellishments to commemorate my niece's first strawberry picking adventure.

The remainder of the kit will be used to make cards.  Since I don't use very many of the 3x3 cards that are included with the kit, I used the card front as a focal image on the front of a standard A2 sized card.

The kit also included these cute little baskets.  They are the perfect size to hold a gift set of 3x3 cards or maybe even a little candy.  They are so adorable!
