Kre8tors Blog Hop:Sympathy

Welcome to this month's Kre8tors Blog Hop!  This month we are focusing on a type of card that is difficult to make, but very much appreciated: sympathy cards.  When I make sympathy cards I usually try to keep them monochromatic in neutral tones.  Here is what I came up with for today:

I used the Rooted in Nature stamp set for this card.  This set is great for a variety of themes: masculine, autumn, and of course sympathy.  I also used Itty Bitty Greetings for the sentiment.
My colors combination is Sahara Sand, Soft Suede, and Very Vanilla.

I really love all of the textures on this card: the frayed linen trim, smooth cardstock, and the textured cardstock from the Subtle Embossing Folder.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog.  I hope you have been inspired to stamp something today.  Please take a moment to leave me a comment and let me know you were here.  As always, I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have about this project or any Stampin' Up! product.  Don't forget to subscribe to my blog or follow me on Facebook so you won't miss any future posts!
Happy Stampin!
