Kre8tors Blog Hop: Dads & Grads

Welcome to this month's Kre8tors Blog Hop! As you hop through the list of blogs, you will find projects from Stampin' Up! demonstrators from various countries with different levels of experience, sharing what we love - creating!  At the end of my post you will find the full list of participants.  Just click on the 'next' button to continue on the hop to Deb's blog.

This month theme is Dads & Grads. I used a few products from the Come Sail Away suite from Stampin' Up!'s new 2019-2020 Annual Catalog to create this Father's Day card.

I used one of the cards in the Come Sail Away Memories and More Card Pack for the sentiment for my card.  The card was cut down using the Rectangle Stitched Framelits and then mounted on a piece of Mellow Moss cardstock.

For the background, I wanted to create something subtle so it wouldn't clash with the sentiment piece.  I stamped the anchor from Sailing Home in Crumb Cake on Crumb Cake cardstock.  I then embossed that piece with the Pinewood Embossing Folder,  Before running the folder through my die cut machine, I added Crumb Cake ink to the inside of the embossing folder using the ink pad directly.  I love the additional depth the ink adds to the texture.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today!  I'm so glad you stopped by.  Please take a moment to follow my blog while you are here so you don't miss any posts!  Be sure to use the Next button blow to continue on the hop.  I know you're not going to want to miss out on what Deb has to share with you!
