Ink Stamp Share Special Blog Hop

Hi Stampin' Friends!

Today I'm hopping with the Ink.Stamp.Share Blog Hop for a special edition of this monthly hop!  Today is a free for all, anything goes.  That means each stamper in the hop is free to whatever projects they are workin on!

I decided to share a sneak peek from Stampin' Up!'s upcoming August - December Mini Catalog (formally known as the Holiday Catalog).  This catalog is always my favorite, probably because Christmas cards are my favorite, and this year is no different!  There are so many wonderful suites, bundles, stamps, and embellishments to choose from!

Today I am using the new Trimming the Town Suite.  I LOVE everything about this suite.  The stamp set and dies can be used to create a cute town scene.  The bundle includes extra elemts to add to the scene a car, wreath, light pole, and a few trees.

Instead of using the houses separately though, I layered three of the houses to create a more detailed home for my card.  I also added a couple trees.  The house is mounted on a piece of Whisper White cardstock that was embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder to resemble a snow-covered ground.  The Happiest of Holidays sentiment is from the Merry Moose stamp set which is making a comeback this year (yay!).

For the inside of the card, I stamped the car and added a tree to the top of it.  All of the coloring on my card was done with the Stampin' Blends.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by my blog today.  I am so glad you are here.  I hope you have been inspired to stamp something today.! Don't forget to click on the 'Next' button below to see what Gez has created to share with you today.

But before you go please take a moment to leave me a comment and let me know you were here.  And, as always, I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have about these cards or any Stampin' Up! product.

Happy Stampin!
