Kre8tors Blog Hop - Anniversary

Welcome to this month's Kre8tors Blog Hop! My participation in this hop today is bittersweet.  It has been almost a year since I have hopped with this group of talented demonstrators. But unfortunately I learned that it will also be the last time, at least for a while.  Unfortunately the organizer will be taking a break. I wish Melissa all the best in her new adventure!

At the end of my post you will find the full list of participants as well as a next button.  When you are ready, just click on the 'next' button to continue on the hop to Sandra's blog.

Today's theme is Anniversary.  I thought this sentiment from the Tasteful Touches stamp set is perfect to give to a significant other to celebrate a special day.  I stamped the flower from the stamp set in Misty Moonlight and then colored it with the Seaside Spray Stampin' Blends Combo Pack.

The leaf springs are die cut from the Sunflower Dies. Everything is layered on a piece of the In Good Taste DSP.  I love the patterns in this paper pack!  I wanted to keep the card masculine so I didn't use and bling or ribbon on this one.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today!  I'm so glad you stopped by.  Please take a moment to follow my blog while you are here so you don't miss any posts!  Be sure to use the Next button blow to continue on the hop to see what Sandra has prepared to share with you.

Happy Stampin'!

  3. Hi Lisa, am following the blog hop and love what you've done with this card. A question, how would you suggest colouring if blends not owned? Tried using aqua brush with marker writers and with ink pads but result was heavy and ugly.....help. Would love to achieve the light hand you have on this card. Regards from UK

    1. Hi! Thank you so much for your compliment! If you don't have the Stampin' Blends, you could try the Stampin' Write Markers. To use an aqua brush you would need to use a waterproof ink such as StazOn.
